“For by hammer and hand all arts do stand”
I like working with metal, it’s nice to make something that will likely last several lifetimes.
Folding knife with brass scales I made for a friend. It's good to get to practice scroll work designs and hand engraving.
My sisters bridal crown. Silver
A friend gave me a broken watch. I fixed it and changed the dial to bronze with silver inlay.
My sigil ring. I made it from a stainless nut and engraved my makers mark on it so that it can actually be used for its purpose. I also threw together the wax scoop for making neater seals.
Using an old Swedish technique called "luffarslöjd" I made a couple of boxes for Christmas presents. Mom keeps garlic in hers.
Tapered ear gauge made of silver. Made to look like a sea shell.
Medieval folding scales of brass and copper. weights are made of tin and accurate down to ca 0.02g
Zippo I tried my hand at some etching and engraving on.
Replica viking grooming kit made for a friend. Toothpick, tweezers and ear-scoop
Couple of life counters for playing magic. I was too unused to the abacus for easy use so I made the brass one. Hand engraved with a very satisfying clickety-click action. Both are made to the same dimensions as a mtg card.
